Return & Refund Policy
At The Trend Lab, we want you to love your purchase. If your product arrives damaged, defective, or is completely different from what you ordered, we are here to make it right.
Please read our policy carefully to understand our return and refund process.
1. Return Window
We offer a 5-Day Replacement/Return Policy from the date your item is delivered. If 5 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
2. Eligibility for Returns & Replacements
To be eligible for a return or replacement, your item must meet the following conditions:
* It must be unused, unwashed, and in the exact same condition that you received it.
* It must be in its original packaging with all tags, labels, and protective films intact.
* You must provide a valid receipt, invoice, or proof of purchase.
*Mandatory Video Unboxing Rule:* To protect against transit damage and missing items, we strictly require a continuous, unedited unboxing video from start to finish showing the unopened package being opened. Without this video proof, we reserve the right to decline a return or replacement request.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of goods cannot be returned or refunded:
* Final sale or clearance items.
* Personal care items, cosmetics, or hygiene-related products.
* Items damaged due to improper handling or usage by the customer.

4. Special Rules for Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders
We proudly offer Cash on Delivery across India. However, to maintain fair operations, the following rules apply:
*Refund Method:For COD orders, refunds cannot be processed back as cash. Refunds will be issued strictly via Bank Transfer (NEFT) or as an Online Store Voucher/Credit of equal value, depending on your preference.
*Verification: To receive a bank transfer refund for a COD order, you will be required to provide valid bank account details matching the name on the order invoice.
*Abuse Policy: Customers who reject COD orders at their doorstep multiple times without a valid reason will be permanently restricted from choosing COD on future orders at thetrendlab.in.

5. How to Initiate a Return
Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Follow these steps:
1. Email our support team at thetrendlabstore@gmail.com within 5 days of delivery.
2. Include your Order Number, a brief description of the issue, and attach your Unboxing Video / Photos of the product.
3. Our team will review your request within 24–48 hours. If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup (where available) or provide shipping instructions.
6. Refunds & Timeline
Once your return is received and thoroughly inspected by our warehouse team, we will notify you via email/SMS regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
*Approved Online Payments (UPI, Cards): The refund will be automatically credited back to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
*Approved COD Payments:The refund will be transferred via NEFT to your provided bank account within 7 business days of warehouse approval.
*Shipping Fees: Original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase (if any) are non-refundable.
